Mackie
24-Channel, 8-Bus Studio Mixer The
Mackie 8-bus mixer has been a staple of my studio since 1994. My
original mixer had to be replaced in 2019, and I was extremely fortunate to find this
gem. It was a demo unit that had been boxed up and stored in a
warehouse for over 20 years. I drove down to Lousiana to pick it up in
person. It's exceptionally clean and in excellent working condition.
I've kept it covered in my smoke-free studio since purchasing it. It
comes with the power supply. Optional meter bridge not included.
Everything works, except the channel 7 solo button does not lock down,
and the master fader fades music down to one side (a common issue with
these 8-bus mixers, but it doesn't affect the recording/mixing process.)

Preamps I
have four mic preamps for sale: Two Golden Age Project PRE-73 MkII
preamps, and two Black Lion Audio B12a preamps. The Golden Age preamps
are based on the circuitry in the Neve 1073 mic preamp, and the Black
Lion preamps are based on the circuitry in the API 312 preamp. All are
in excellent working and cosmetic condition, were kept in my
smoke-free studio, and come with the power adapter. If you purchase
both PRE-73 MkII preamps for $360,
I'll throw in the Unite rackmount rack for free.
The duct tape between the B12a preamps was just to help hold them in place since there was no rack mount kit for them. Although the B12a preamps look different, they are the same model; one was manufactured before Black Lion Audio transitioned these preamps to the brushed aluminum faceplate. Yamaha
P35B Digital Piano This
is an 88-key digital piano that has 10 built-in, layerable,
high-quality sounds, built-in speakers, and features weighted keys.
I've taken it on a half-dozen gigs over the years where I was hired to
perform Christmas standards, but its primary function was as a MIDI
controller in my studio. Excellent working and cosmetic condition.
Comes with an M-Audio SP-2 sustain pedal.

ART Pro
VLA Tube Compressor Sometimes
referred to as the VLA I, it was the predecessor to the VLA II above.
This compressor started out in my recording studio, but for the last 15
years it's been in my home theater system and used to tame the dynamics
of audio on DVDs. Excellent
operating and cosmetic condition.

Alesis
Matica 900 Power Amp I
bought this amp to use in the studio as a monitor amp due to its
excellent audio specs, but occasionally I used it on a gig. One day
while in a rack case, the amp
slid off the top of an equipment case I was rolling. The case took the
brunt of the
fall which saved the amp, but the weight of the amp caused the rack
ears to rip. The
amp still
works perfectly fine. It's a
heavy amp (48 pounds) so I would recommend using it in a fixed
installation, such as a recording studio or home theater setup. 270
watts per channel into 8 ohms.
$150.00
or best offerFrom the manual: Matica amplifiers use the newest generation of linear semiconductor devices for improved performance. Their high slew rate of 80 V/ms insures that they will not generate significant TIM (transient intermodulation) distortion. The outstanding signal to noise ratio (typically better than 103 dB, A weighted, below rated output) and very low harmonic distortion (typically below .009% midband) make them ideally suited for the most critical studio monitoring applications. MXL R77L
Ribbon Microphone There
are lots of R-77 mics on the market, but this is the limited edition
R-77-L with the Swedish Lundahl transformer. The "L" edition of this
mic is very rare today. I used this as a vocal mic on a handful of
projects over the
years, including Dan Tutsch's lead vocal on Cruisin' in my Crown Vic and
Shayna's stacked vocal responses on Emergency. It was kept in a
smoke-free studio and always stored it upright in its box to preserve
the integrity of the ribbon. Excellent cosmetic and perfect working
condition. Comes in original box with wooden mic box, table stand, mic
stand adapter, mic cord, and fine polishing cloth. (I am also selling a
CL-1 CloudLifter which I always used with this mic.)

TC
Electronic Stereo Chorus + Pitch Modulator & Flanger I
bought this pedal about 30 years ago to use with my accordion, but for
the past 25 years, it's mostly just sat in the box. The pedal is in
nice shape and works great, but the box is very worn from being
carted around in a cord case back in the 1990s. There is a wide strip
of Velcro on the bottom. Note: This is not the SCF Gold re-release of
this pedal. This is an original.

Roland
HP-100 Digital Piano Purchased
new from Cascio Music in 1986, this digital piano is now a vintage
treasure. This
was my studio's main MIDI keyboard controller for over 30 years.
It
features built-in speakers, four (rather cheesy) piano sounds, 76
semi-weighted keys, MIDI
In-Out-Thru, stereo audio inputs, stereo audio and headphone outputs,
and tuning dial.
Comes with original stand, damper (sustain pedal) and power cord.
Excellent condition. Clean. All keys play perfectly.

Pedals & Effects The
RV-3 is in particularly excellent condition because it wasn't used live

8-Bus Mixer Power Supply The
8-bus mixer I'm selling comes with a power supply, but I also have this
spare

1994.
It's been kept in my smoke free studio since 1994 and works perfectly.

iNuke NU6000 Power Amp This
is the amp I used to power my 21" subwoofers at outdoor events. It is
an absolute beast of an amp with plenty of juice (1,600
watts per channel into 8 ohms) to
power subs or mains. And the best part... it only weighs 12 pounds!
You can literally lift it with your pinkie finger. Excellent condition.

Stewart
PA-1000 Power Amp Lightweight
(11 pounds) single-rack-space amplifier. 200 watts per channel into 8
ohms. For over 25 years, this amp has powered my 15" JBL mains whenever
I used my larger PA rack on the job. It's a reliable workhorse in
excellent condition.

Custom-Made
15" Passive Subwoofers This
is a pair of very high-quality subwoofers that I put together in 2024
and used only three times, so they are like brand new. I built these
subs
with one goal in mind — to be as light as possible without sacrificing
any aspect of quality. The speakers are B&C 15" subwoofers with
neodymium magnets (model 15LDN76) and the cabinets are 5/8" plywood
construction made by Seismic Audio. The cabinets match the recommended
cubic foot and enclosure specs for the speakers. Dimensions are
approximately 21" wide, 20" deep, and 26" high. Weight is approximately
55 pounds each — light enough to be carried by one person, but I
installed casters anyway for easy rolling and positioning. These are
awesome-sounding subs! I hate to part with them, but I am committing
myself to downsizing my band in 2026 in preference of smaller gigs.

Mackie
CFX12 Mixer I
bought this mixer over 20 years ago because it matched all the criteria
I ever needed for performing live, such as a minimum of 8 mic inputs
plus additional line inputs for my sound module, sweepable midrange EQ
on every channel, built-in digital reverb. It still works flawlessly.
Comes with optional rackmount kit.

Electro-Voice
EVT EX-18 Speaker Crossover This is a basic 2-way stereo (or 3-way mono) speaker crossover. I kept it housed in my larger rack for whenever I used my subwoofers on a larger gig. It's in perfect working condition. |
18" Bass
Cabinet I've
had this bass cabinet for probably 30 years now. I'm not sure what it
is, but it looks like a 18" Peavey Black Widow speaker in a Sonic
cabinet. All I know is that it works flawlesly and sounds great.

Roland
M-GS64 Sound Module
Excellent
condition. I originally kept it housed in my smoke-free studio for the
first 20 years, and it spent the next 10 years in my large PA rack to
use on stage with my accordion.

Professional DLX Drum Set
"Wine red" color with laquer finish, 1980s vintage, birch/mahogany shells. I've owned this kit for about 25 years. I referred to it as my "festival kit" and played it on a half-dozen gigs a year. It also served as my studio recording kit over the years. Has the expected nicks and scrapes but looks great overall and plays beautifully. 22"x16" kick, 16"x16" floor tom, 11"x13" & 10"x12" rack toms. This is for the drums only... no hi-hat, cymbals, etc. Optional cases: Four SKB cases are available for the kick and toms. Excellent cosmetic condition. $275 or best offer. Optional snare: If you need a snare with the kit, I have wine red Premier Artist birch snare available: $80.00 or best offer |
